The Handmaid’s Tale
Recently, of one of the Exploration Exhibits specimens can be seen in the acclaimed Hulu series The Handmaid’s Tale.
The market with the dinosaurs was filmed at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex on the Exhibition Grounds in Toronto, ON in the interior dome between the Centennial and Renaissance rooms. The Tyrannosaurus Rex featured above, is the specimen ‘Jane’ from the Carnivorous Dinosaurs Exploration Exhibit. The specimen was rented to the studio as a prop for filming and can be seen prominently displayed in the screenshot from The Handmaid’s Tale.
Jurassic Park
The Tyrannosaurus Rex which was featured in the 1993 Universal Pictures blockbuster, Jurassic Park, was a specimen which we cast and provided for the filming of the movie.
Pictured here, the Tyrannosaurus Rex (right) was a large prop that was featured multiple times in the Visitor’s Center in Jurassic Park.
